Input Attributes

This chapter describes the different attributes for the HTML form input element.
The value Attribute
The input value attribute specifies an initial value for an input field

Design for Mobile First

Always Design for Mobile First
Mobile First means designing for mobile before designing for desktop or any other device (This will make the page display faster on smaller devices).
This means that we must make some changes in our CSS.
Instead of changing styles when the width gets smaller than 768px, we should change the design when the width gets larger than 768px. This will make our design Mobile First: 0504370352

Bootstrap

Build responsive, mobile-first projects on the web with the world’s most popular front-end component library.
Bootstrap is an open source toolkit for developing with HTML, CSS, and JS. Quickly prototype your ideas or build your entire app with our Sass variables and mixins, responsive grid system, extensive prebuilt components, and powerful plugins built on jQuery.

Cards

A card is a flexible and extensible content container. It includes options for headers and footers, a wide variety of content, contextual background colors, and powerful display options. If you’re familiar with Bootstrap 3, cards replace our old panels, wells, and thumbnails. Similar functionality to those components is available as modifier classes for cards.

Navs

Navigation available in Bootstrap share general markup and styles, from the base .nav class to the active and disabled states. Swap modifier classes to switch between each style.
The base .nav component is built with flexbox and provide a strong foundation for building all types of navigation components. It includes some style overrides (for working with lists), some link padding for larger hit areas, and basic disabled styling. 0504370352

Clearfix

Quickly and easily clear floated content within a container by adding a clearfix utility.

Components and Props Components let you split the UI into independent, reusable pieces, and think about each piece in isolation. This page provides an introduction to the idea of components. You can find a detailed component API reference here.
Conceptually, components are like JavaScript functions. They accept arbitrary inputs (called “props”) and return React elements describing what should appear on the screen.

Passing Data Through Props To get our feet wet, let’s try passing some data from our Board component to our Square component.
We strongly recommend typing code by hand as you’re working through the tutorial and not using copy paste. This will help you develop muscle memory and a stronger understanding.

Uniform Resource Locators A URL is another word for a web address.
A URL can be composed of words (w3schools.com), or an Internet Protocol (IP) address (192.68.20.50).
Most people enter the name when surfing, because names are easier to remember than numbers.
URL - Uniform Resource Locator
Web browsers request pages from web servers by using a URL.
A Uniform Resource Locator (URL) is used to address a document (or other data) on the web.

YouTube Videos The easiest way to play videos in HTML, is to use YouTube.
Struggling with Video Formats?
Earlier in this tutorial, you have seen that you might have to convert your videos to different formats to make them play in all browsers.
Converting videos to different formats can be difficult and time-consuming.
An easier solution is to let YouTube play the videos in your web page.
YouTube Video Id
YouTube will display an id (like tgbN6m87vqY), when you save (or play) a video.
You can use this id, and refer to your video in the HTML code.
Playing a YouTube Video in HTML
To play your video on a web page, do the following:
Upload the video to YouTube
Take a note of the video id
Define an iframe element in your web page
Let the src attribute point to the video URL
Use the width and height attributes to specify the dimension of the player
